We were super-excited to receive over 550 visitors to our Open Day on June 12th and the day was a great success enjoyed by all. A very big thank you to everyone who came to see us!

The sun was shining and it was lovely to see our guests exploring our beautiful farmhouse, barns and gardens. Our Event Team were on hand to chat to couples about their wedding plans and to answer their questions. Our waiting staff served homemade ice-cream to delighted guests and our team of talented chefs created delicious canapes for guests to sample and enjoy throughout the afternoon and evening.  For the first time we also had a lovely noodle bar set up in The Tudor Barn to give guests a taste for one of our new evening food options. Guests enjoyed delicious Chicken Pad Thai and Vegetarian Noodles!

We were thrilled to host a number of our favourite suppliers as well. Guests were expertly greeted by our favourite Master of Ceremonies, Chris Jennings.  Lee Smith wowed our guests with his clever magic and visitors were treated to the lovely sounds of guitarist Mickey Fordola in the garden.

In our stunning Tudor Barn the top table was set for a wedding breakfast and stylishly decorated by Alice from Fleur de Lace. In the Horse Barn DJ Gary from Titan Roadshow entertained our guests and Sally from Halo Blossom provided beautiful and creative floral decorations for the top table and throughout the venue.

The Little Photo Box brought their lovely Horse Box Photo Booth along which looked pretty in the Courtyard. Drives of Yesterday brought along one of their stunning vintage wedding cars and in the barnyard guests were introduced to our piglets, runner ducks and chickens by Smallholding Manager, Rob.  Letters of Love brought along their stunning flower-filled love letters which looked gorgeous in the gardens and Stephanie from Safe and Sound Event Childcare was on hand in The Granary to give guests information about event crèches.  In the Courtyard we were treated to a fantastic fire show by Luke Harries Fire Show which really wowed our guests!

Emily’s Best Travelling Traditional Sweet Shop was set up in The Old Dairy with lots of sweet samples and information and Two Little Cats Bakery set up some of their gorgeous wedding cakes in The Tudor Barn and offered guests a choice of delicious cake samples.  Denise Lilley Make Up was in residence in the bridal suite for the day providing make-overs for our guests and wedding day make up advice and tips.

Ben and Tim from Milkbottle Photography chatted to guests and also beautifully captured the afternoon for us with a wonderful collection of photographs. A huge thank you to all those who visited it was lovely to see you all and we hope you enjoy the collection images from the day courtesy of Milkbottle Photography.

From the bottom of our hearts we thank you all.
