We were thrilled to receive over 300 visitors at our Open Evening on September 8th.
Our Open Evenings here at South Farm are a great opportunity for booked couples to see the venue in full swing in advance of their special day here and for new visitors to explore all that we have on offer here at South Farm to see if we might just be the venue for them.
We were pleased to welcome some of our favourite suppliers as well. Guests were expertly greeted by our favourite Master of Ceremonies, Chris Jennings. Sharon Bowen joined us for the first time with a selection of her stunning bridal gowns in our luxurious Bridal Suite. Lee Smith wowed our guests with his oh-so clever magic and visitors were treated to the sounds of Nostalgia Steel Band in the garden. In our stunning Tudor Barn the top table was set for a wedding breakfast and guests had a chance to enjoy a relaxing drink, sample some of the delicious canapés created by our chefs whilst being entertained by the dulcet tones of Mickey Fordola. Julia Cambridge provided beautiful and very creative floral decorations throughout the venue.
From the courtyard guests were able to hop on a golf buggy or our lovely tuk tuk for a ride around the farm taking in views of the smallholding and our many rare-breed animals.
Stephanie from Safe and Sound was on hand in The Granary to give guests information about event crèches and owner Philip Paxman chatted to guests in The Old Dairy about South Farm’s honeymoon destination in Thailand, Kanlaya’s Eyrie.
