From relaxed, ethereal bouquets, tied with hand dyed silk, and intricate buttonholes, to large, architectural installations, Wildstems specialises in wildly romantic, seasonal florals through which we aim to add to the beauty and sense of time, place and drama of your day. We use the most beautiful of flowers and foliage, each stem selected for its colour, texture, scent and movement, to reflect you as a couple and the season in which you get married.
Wildstems was set up by me – Cissy Bullock – and my slightly contrarian nature and occasional rebellious streak is reflected in my floral style. I’m always striving for designs that are anything but generic with unique and interesting blooms and foraged elements.
Our flowers are from local growers in the UK, increasingly supplemented by ingredients from our own cutting garden, and from the surrounding hedgerows and forests. In the winter months, when British flowers lie dormant, we do use imported flowers from carefully selected suppliers, and try to design in a way that minimises our environmental footprint. We never use floral foam.
The design process is a collaborative one, starting with a consultation (either in person or over the phone) to allow me to get a sense of you as a couple and your vision for the day. This is translated into the designs of the bouquets, buttonholes, table arrangements and larger installations, depending on the requirements of your event. Everything I design is bespoke and individual to you; just as no two flowers are identical, no two events are the same.
Please get in touch to dicsuss your wedding. I’d love to hear from you.
