Disabled Access Plan
We have a warm welcome waiting for our couples and their guests and we want to make sure South Farm is accessible to everyone. The majority of the venue is on ground level with the exception of The Parrot Room which is on the first floor of the main house. There are small threshold steps into the front door of the house and leading out into the garden but we have portable ramps for these which can be put out on the day on request. Our gardens and courtyard are also accessible with a network of hard paths and walkways linking the indoor and outdoor spaces.

Disabled drop off points
For garden ceremonies or receptions in the main house: It is best to drop disabled guests at the front door (low threshold step to overcome) or garden gate (flat) next to the house and then park your vehicle as normal in the car park, although there is a path from the car park leading to the house.
Old Dairy: The courtyard is usually cordoned off to general traffic with the exception of those dropping off guests in wheel chairs for direct access to the Old Dairy.
Tudor Barn: direct access can be gained via paved path directly from the car park to the rear fire exit of the barn.
Access route
Access to the site from all the main rooms (Barn, Dairy, Granary), garden and terrace are linked by flat and ramped walkways, easily negotiable for wheelchair users. Doorway dimensions to each room are written in purple under each room name on the map. Please note that this is a listed premises and we have been unable to make many changes to parts of the property (mainly to the house) to ease access due to building conservation and rules & regulations, however most disabled people are able to get around well, please speak to a member of staff if you feel you might need assistance or more information.
Access to ground floor bedrooms
The Tack Room and Dove Cote both have wider doors and all rooms have a low threshold to step over but it is quite shallow. Doorway dimensions to each room are written in purple under each room name on the map.
