We were super-excited to receive over 450 visitors to our Open Evening on June 6th. The evening was a great success and we would like to say a very big thank you to everyone who joined us!
Despite a blustery and rainy start to the day we were delighted when the sun came out to join us in the afternoon meaning our guests could explore all of our indoor and outdoor spaces including our beautiful barns and gardens. Our Event Team were on hand to chat to couples about their plans for their special day and to answer questions. Our Small holding team presented a lovely display of South Farm home-grown produce in the Tudor Barn and our team of talented chefs created delicious canapes for guests to enjoy throughout the evening.
We were thrilled to host a number of our favourite suppliers as well. Guests were expertly greeted by our favourite Master of Ceremonies, Chris Jennings. Matthew Le Motee entertained our guests with his clever magic and visitors were treated to the sounds of The Sam Lewis Band in the Old Dairy.
In our stunning Tudor Barn the top table was set for a wedding breakfast and stylishly decorated by Fleur de Lace, Event Stylists with floral decorations in the Tudor Barn and Old Dairy by Origins Floral.
In the Horse Barn DJ Gary from Titan Roadshow entertained our guests with his fantastic sound and light show and Harvey from Drives of Yesteryear was on hand to chat to guests about his services and his stunning collection of cars including the lovely Armstrong Siddeley Classic Car positioned in the Courtyard.
From the courtyard guests were able to hop on our tuk tuk for a ride around the farm taking in views of the smallholding and our many rare-breed animals.
Liz from Happi-nest was on hand to give guests information about event crèches and had some lovely soft play equipment and toys set up to entertain our younger guests!
Tom Halliday captured the evening for us with a wonderful collection of photographs and Andrew Collins Video was also on hand chatting to guests and put together some lovely footage of the evening.
