Meet the Team

The garden at South Farm is very much the sum of team effort, skills, enthusiasm and a lot of hard work. The garden team comprises of Andy (Head Gardener), Stuart (Garden Designer), Rob (Animal Manager), Simon (Smallholding Consultant) and Ian (Maintenance).

Our neighbour Simon Saggers has been the brains and expertise behind the smallholding since 2007. His ideas have been ably implemented by the Smallholding team. Between them they feed all our Weddings with the ultimate in seasonal, fresh and delicious food. They are helped by nearly everyone else on site with weeding, planting and cropping when other duties allow.

Our flower gardens have been expanded and transformed over the years by our Garden Designer, Stuart Bennett. He plans, plants and supervises the management of his enchanting new schemes with the very able assistance of head gardener Andy.

The Gardens make what South Farm is today. With all home-grown produce and (beautiful) substantial acreage, it’s the team behind it that work tirelessly to ensure it is always at its best.
