South Farm News

Our regular news is usually filled with happy times….your long-awaited special day and images of the most wonderful, unique celebrations. It’s a true privilege and an absolute pleasure to host your perfect Wedding Day.

Your weddings are woven into the hearts of all of our team and delivering the perfect day is what we always strive to do.

Sadly at the end of March we all find ourselves in less happy times, in the midst of uncertainty and in a situation we never thought we would find ourselves in following the Government’s ban on weddings earlier this month.

Firstly, we want to thank you for your kindness and patience in these difficult times, especially considering the disarray that your own plans may have been plunged into. It makes a huge difference to our staff morale and you can rest assured that we will continue our business, keep supporting you and avoid redundancies within our own team while honouring our contracts with you.  Our team are working hard to facilitate changing plans by rolling dates forward or making refunds in line with your contract.  We know that every couple’s situation will be different and you can be sure that we will be as flexible and supportive as we possibly can.

We are also working hard to feed our ‘at risk’ friends and neighbours with produce from our smallholding, we want to do whatever we can to help in these difficult times.  The farm and gardens are blooming with optimism, our animals continue to thrive and we look forward to sharing some photos with you over the coming days.

More than anything we are looking forward to getting back to hosting the happiest days of your lives and we hope they will be all the more special after this difficult time.

If you have a question, then please do telephone us or drop us an email and we will do our very best to answer your question as quickly as we can.  In the meantime, please all stay well and safe and we look forward to seeing you all soon x
