Seasons of Mellow Fruitfulness......

We are now in full production in our organic gardens and most of our wonderful fruit and vegetables finds its way into Christine's menus. However, we do have a surplus and because we hate waste we preserve our fruits and vegetables by creating a wonderful range of jams, jellies and chutneys. These are made by a local friend Jayne,(aided this summer by our student helper Katie) and they have filled our shelves in the Tudor Barn so that they are groaning with jars !

We use the jams and jellies both for Bed and Breakfast guests and for some of our menus. They are also available for purchase so if you are visiting please do ask if you would like to buy some. Visiting prospective brides are always offered a free sample! A new exciting venture for us is that we are also producing mini pots of our jams as our very own South Farm Wedding Favours which tie in very nicely with our country theme. These are competitively priced and can be personalised-please do ask if you would be interested in these for your wedding.
