South Farm offers a charming and exclusive venue for any couple wishing to have a truly memorable Wedding Day. All wedding parties at South Farm have exclusive use of the property and full flexibility to plan the day as they wish. Our food is renowned and our planning and service are of the highest order.

 

We understand the importance of making your Wedding Day the best and most memorable day of your life. Our policy is to be transparent in our costing and flexible in our programme, so that you can budget accurately and adapt the facilities and services we offer to achieve the day you really want.

In response to the economic downturn we have recently introduced a mid-week special offer, available until the end of 2010, which strips out a lot of the costs involved with the bespoke arrangements that apply to most of our weekend bookings, and is priced on a marginal costing basis.  Please click here for more details.

South Farm has facilities that can suit any size of wedding from an intimate family affair to 250 for a formal wedding breakfast, and is perfectly situated for wedding parties from Hertfordshire ,Cambridgeshire and London.

Facts and figures:

  • All weddings have exclusive use of the property for the day. We have a hire charge, which varies depending upon the season and the day of the week, and includes the hire of the property and all that is required to entertain up to 140 guests formally and up to 300 informally. The Bridal Suite is complimentary. Click Venue Hire Charges for further details.
  • We have menus to suit every budget and style of occasion. We make extensive use of our home grown organic produce. Click  Food for menus and prices.
  • We are fully licensed. Click  Drinks for wine list, corkage rates and bar prices.
  • We are licensed for the conduct of Civil Marriage ceremonies indoors and outdoors.  Indoors there is a choice of  3 rooms with capacities of up to 35, 105 and 180 respectively. Outdoors a very romantic Summer House has been built out over the pond for the conduct of wedding ceremonies, with the congregation seated on the lawn opposite, capacity 180.   Click Ceremonies for details.
  • Services of Blessing and Humanist services may be held in the garden or in the buildings.
  • We pride ourselves on being extremely flexible and can cater for most wishes.
  • We are in South West Cambridgeshire, close to the Hertfordshire border, ideal for weddings from all over Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and Essex and London.
