South Farm - Distinctly different

Team Building

South Farm provides a diverse range of spaces indoors and out suitable for numerous team building and recreational activities. Unique amongst these are the “Crop and Cook” utilising our productive smallholding and award winning kitchens,  and exclusive fly fishing days on the lake.

The Facilities

The Terrace Lawn is twice the size of a football pitch, big enough for activities of all sorts, games, races, archery, shooting and more.

The smallholding covers more than ten acres and grows a remarkable 250 varieties of fresh produce as well as supporting free range poultry and pigs. It provides the harvest at any time of year for “Crop and Cook” competitive cooking in our state of the art award winning kitchen.

The Nature Reserve is centred around a deep water 3 acre lake well stocked with very big trout. As well as its natural appeal and beauty it can host exclusive fly fishing days and very relaxed meals in the fishing hut.

The Tudor Barn offers over 1700 square feet of open carpeted space where a facilitator can contrive all sorts of activities. The Old Dairy, The Granary and the House offer an array of alternative indoor spaces, all with very different qualities.

The Options

“Crop and Cook” is a competitive team cooking exercise that starts with gathering fresh produce from the smallholding before a team 'cook off' in the kitchen culminating in a jury tasting panel 'eat off'. Master Chef with a difference!

Fly Fishing days for up to six rods, with a splendid lunch in the fishing hut are as good as it gets. Tackle and expert guidance provided by our two gentlemen ghillies.

Competitive sports including archery, clay and laser shooting, sports days and anything else you can think of that requires a large outdoor space.

Team Building - we can arrange for facilitators to conduct any of a huge array of fun or skill developing exercises.
